Summary: In the 70s, one of the most recognized hillbilly horror families was shown to a shocked world, its main star being a chainsaw-wielding maniac with more brawn than brains. Now, Michael Bay of all people begins a rather alarming crusade to remake every famous horror franchise, starting with ol' Leatherface. And for a guy who prioritizes exploitation, violence, and female objectification (he's a loser like that), it's perfect.

History: Leatherface was born all too fittingly in a slaughterhouse, his mother dying from the birth and her horrible boss tossing him into the horrible enviroment. Then the crazy Hewitt family found him, and in a surprising display of empathy, adopted him and named him Thomas. Over time, the Hewitts groomed Thomas into becoming their personal muscle for killing anyone who dares go anywhere near their property. Sure, they let Thomas indulge in some vengeance, but for the most part, he was content to lose his mind and skin his victims for their faces. Hence, he won the nickname Leatherface.

Notable Kills: We get the privilege (?) of seeing Leatherface's process of skinning a man's face off. Slowly. Also, groin attack. A Leatherface favorite.

Final Fate: To this day, Leatherface is still living with his family, waiting for the next bunch of folks to come near his place and kill them all. However, his recent bout left him with a severely damaged Hewitt clan, and the loss of his right arm. Needless to say, his days might actually be numbered.

Powers/Abilities: As usual, Leatherface is extremely resilient, and always carries around his trusty hammer and chainsaw.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-It wouldn't be Leatherface if he wasn't a terrifying juggernaut of a tortured soul. His backstory is almost on par with his old incarnation when it comes to personal tragedy, but it doesn't do much to distract us from how sadistic he's become.

Trivia: -Leatherface's actor was originally considered to be Dolph Lundgren, the same guy who played Ivan Drago in "Rocky IV" and He-Man in that live-action adaptation we don't talk about. He turned it down to spend more time with his family, and the role was given to Andrew Bryniarski, who was Zangief in the "Street Fighter" movie.

-Originally, Tobe Hooper himself was involved with the production, but that fell through quickly.
